automatically change width of sub menu entry

Is it possible to change the sub menu width so that it fits to the entry width? Atm the submenu width is the same for all entries. Now: ABC = 3 letters = 100 px (100 px are just an example, i don't know how much it is in real) ABCDEF = 6 letters = 100px I need: ABC = 3 letters = 10px or something that fits to 3 letters ABCDEF = 6 letters = 20px or something that fits to 3 letters
