Assigning Widgets To Specific Pages and Templates

Is it possible to assign widgets to a specific page, or are the widgets by default only assignable to each specific side bar which is defined under the Options Catch Kathmandu Options Section? Is it possible to set/create new page templates easily? Also, is it possible to import the xml file associated with the live demo? Thanks. Jim
