Adding widgets – social icons/search bar over the header image.

Hi im using catch flames pro. im a total novice and am muddling through. Im struggling though and hoping you can help. I am using a feature header image (no fixed header top) i wanted to add social icons and a search bar but the header right and top sidebars place the widgets either above the header image and that moves in down or below and then the slider underneath moves down. Neither looks great. I am wondering if there something i can add to allow the use of the header image space for these widgets. i dont think i can include the url as the page is down (as its an ecommerce site i cant have it live whilst we work on it) Any simple tip would be much appreciated..
