Adding page number at the bottom

I would like to add the page number under the posts that looks like this: ex) Page 1 of 2 [1] [2] >> I tried to find the menu from settings page, but I couldn't. How could I add this? +) How do I limit the number of posts displayed on the front page? (Not the number of Featured posts in the slider box.) Thanks in advance.
