Adding links/Link error

I am attempting to add links to certain pictures throughout my site. I am copying/pasting direct links, however, when I save them and attempt to click them in the live/demo version of my pages, the url for the page that I am on is automatically added in front of the url that I linked to my picture. For example. I have several pictures on my portfolio pages. I linked one of them to the site http://elitetuned.com. I saved that. When I attempted to try and click on the link, in my browser bar I now have the url: http://christinacarnahan.com/portfoliowww.elitetuned.com This is happening on all of my pages.
