Adding Another Feature to the Header

Hi! I'm trying to add a different opt-in box right under the header in this theme. I've got it all designed and I've got the short code, but I'm having a hard time finding the right place in the code to put it so it appears under the header (where the promotional message normally goes). Help please? Thanks in advance!
