Add Own Images to Slider

Hello, I would like to change the images in the slider. I am using the free version is this not an option? If its not then can you tell me how to take out caption in the images being displayed for instance the text that reads ..."Situated western part in the outskirts of the Kathmandu valley, Seto Gumba also known as Druk Amitabh Mountain or White Monastery, is one of the most popular Buddhist monasteries of Nepal." Thanks for any help
