Add Image Button Homepage Featured Content Not Working

Hello, I'm using the Catch Everest free version 1.3 and can't get the 'Add Image' button to work for Featured Content. All plugins have been disabled and still not working. Is there anything I can do to make this work? I have full ftp access etc.
