Add date after post title

I bought Sim Click last year. At that time I think I changed the CSS so that the author information does not appear on the line below post headings (though I can't find where I did this!). I have noticed I have also lost the date, which I still wanted in a line under the heading. How can I restore this? I have a static home page, the blog therefore comes under it
