Add a Separate 'Blog' Page

I currently have a static front page and would like another page titled 'Blog' that will display all of my blog posts- I've done this in other themes very easily by editing the php in the traditional page.php and saving it as a page template but your page.php code is different than what I am used to! http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-a-separate-page-for-blog-posts-in-wordpress/ That is the method I'm used to following... Is this possible to implement for your theme or is there something in the theme options/settings I'm overlooking? Thank you so much! <3
