A Few Questions

I am using Simple Catch by Catch Themes and I have a few questions about this theme that I am using. 1) How do I shorten the navigation bar? 2) If I add a page, it's not adding the pages in order on the navigation bar - it adds them backwards and jumbles them all up and I don't know why it is doing this. It will not allow me to add "Home" as the static page either and puts "Home" as the third on the navigation menu and will not allow me to change. How do I fix these two problems?
