2nd blog post doesn't show on home page.

I just published my 2nd blog post, but it only shows if I search. I have done all kinds of cache emptying, with no results. Initially I used the WP Archives widget (which I have since removed), and my second post showed up there, even though it was newer than my 1st post. Is it me, WP, or the theme?
