Front-end Web Developer
As a Front-end Web Developer, you will be working with, primarily, our designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role in defining how our product look as well as how they work. You should:
- Be able to translate PSDs and other assets created by design team into cohesive websites
- Have excellent knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS
- Have experience with mobile-first responsive design
- Have strong communication and organizational skills
- Be able to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines
- Experience with Sass and jQuery Implementation is a plus
- Experience with starter themes like Underscores and Bootstrap is a plus
WordPress Theme Developer
Catch Themes has been at the forefront of the WordPress Theme & Plugin Development scene of the country. And, we’ve been building top quality premium (and free) WordPress themes and plugins for the past 4 years. As a WordPress Theme Developer at Catch Themes, you will be working with a small and agile team. You will mostly create new themes and plugins, and help keep our older products functioning like well-oiled machines.
You should:
- Enjoy finding elegant solutions to complex problems and are familiar with the WordPress motto – “code is poetry.”
- Be up-to-date with the latest and greatest trends and technologies because you are engaged in the open source community
- Have in-depth knowledge on developing for WordPress
- Be very good with PHP and JavaScript
- Have already created either themes or plugins for WordPress and possibly even contributed to WordPress Core.
- Be knowledgeable in Theme Customizer API
WordPress Plugin Developer
As a WordPress Plugin Developer at Catch Themes, you will have a passion for building new innovative WordPress plugins, and help keep our older ones functioning. You should:
- Enjoy finding elegant solutions to complex problems and are familiar with the WordPress motto – “code is poetry.”
- Be up-to-date with the latest and greatest trends and technologies because you are engaged in the open source community
- Have in-depth knowledge on developing for WordPress
- Be very good with PHP and JavaScript as well as Object-Oriented Programming
- Skilled in WordPress APIs like Settings API, Rest API and Theme Customizer API
Creative Designer
As a Creative Designer for Catch Themes, you should be able to create designs, icons, and layouts for themes. You’ll also be designing other promotional stuff as the requirements arise like banners, etc. We expect you to have a sense of responsibility towards your work and contribute to the design and production from the beginning to the end together with our other skilled designers and developers. You should:
- Bring the “creative” in creative designer
- Proficient with designing in Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Have strong layout, composition and typography skills
- Have a good eye for details and can adapt to current design trends
- Communicate using positive and professional writing skills
Your typical workday will include improving and polishing our existing themes, refining currently available elements and also creating new style sheets that alter the appearance of some of those themes completely.
Content Writer
As a Content Writer for Catch Themes, your main responsibilities will be writing articles for the blog. We also have a rapidly growing YouTube channel, Facebook community and we manage other popular websites, and meetup groups. All of which require skilled writing to maintain and grow.
You will also work on special writing projects such as product documentation, video scripts, and more.
You should:
- Have a passion for the written word and clear communication
- Be familiar with WordPress but if you’re not, we can teach. The important thing is you have a desire for learning
- Create unique and engaging blog posts, not just WordPress-related but also other topics of interest
- Have the ability to research and collate information, even when the subject matter is unfamiliar
- Skills in proofreading with exceptional attention to detail
- Be able to deliver at least 2 articles every week
- Have a knowledge of social media platforms
Theme/Plugin Support Engineer
At Catch Themes, we live and breathe customer support. We are looking for some amazing people to help us out. You should:
- Be comfortable coding with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and have at least some JQuery scripting knowledge
- Be good with PHP & WordPress
- Have used Firebug, Chrome’s Debugging Console, Opera’s Dragonfly or a similar tool for web development
- Have a high standard of written and spoken English
- Always be polite
Your typical workday will start with answering all open requests in our support forum. During the day you should check the forum several times, clear follow-up questions and answer new queries. In short: make our customers super happy
Trainee

- Have excellent communication skills
- Understand of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and PHP
- Have an understanding of WordPress, WordPress themes and plugins
