Hi
In the catch box theme I cannot find the place to insert the google site verification id. In the catch box manual it says:
How to insert Site Verification IDs?Go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Webmaster Tools”
Click on Site VerificationBut there is not box for that, only for header and footer and that does not work.
Can anyone please help me on this?
Many thanks.

1. You can simply upgrade to Pro version, where you will get this options and many more features. Read this http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-box-pro/
2. If you don’t want to upgrade to Pro version then you can copy the whole verification code and add it in the header box: For example: if you are using google site verification then you can just change the key in the following meta and add it in “Appearance => Theme Options => Webmaster Tools => Header and Footer Codes => Code to display on Header” box:
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="Add your Key Here" />
3. There is another options as well. Just install “Catch Web Tools” plugin and add in http://catchthemes.com/wp-plugins/catch-web-tools/January 29, 2015 at 6:14 pm #50763MMchenMemberThank you Sakin for the quick answer.
Option 2 would be an easy alternative, but unfortunately it does not work. I tried on on header box as well as footer box and both. Google does not recognize it.
I will try option 3 now.
January 29, 2015 at 6:19 pm #50764SakinKeymaster@MMchen: I did option two in one of my site and it was working. Looks like you have Cache plugin setup. In that case you need to go to that Cache plugin setup and cache your cache and it will work.
January 29, 2015 at 6:22 pm #50765MMchenMemberOh boy … :O … now you are losing me here.
Which steps do I have to do exactly? Where to I need to go? Cache plugin set up?
Where do I find this?Cache my cache? I am bit confused.
January 29, 2015 at 6:24 pm #50766MMchenMemberMy cache in WordPress is empty I just checked it. Super WP cache is running.
January 29, 2015 at 6:40 pm #50767January 29, 2015 at 7:44 pm #50770MMchenMemberYEAH …. it worked! I had emptied the cache, but forgot to wait another few minutes until my hoster had published the change.
Many thanks Sakin.Greetings from Germany
MMchenJanuary 29, 2015 at 7:46 pm #50772MMchenMemberOne little hint from my side … Maybe somebody could change the manual so that one can find the solution there? It would mean less work for you ;).
Many thanks again.
January 29, 2015 at 8:31 pm #50773SakinKeymaster@MMchen: Yes but that manual should be from WP Super Cache plugin. If you don’t have this plugin activated then it will work fine. Thanks 🙂
January 29, 2015 at 10:52 pm #50779MMchenMemberHi Sakin
Yes, thank you, but first of all I think the manual for catch box should be changed. I spent hours looking for a solution of something that does not exist anymore. The manual says:
How to insert Site Verification IDs?
Go to “Appearance => Theme Options => Webmaster Tools”
Click on-
Site Verification
But there is no “site verification” in catch box anymore.Thank you for your support!
January 29, 2015 at 11:01 pm #50780SakinKeymaster@MMchen: Thanks I have already remove that. Maybe you are seeing the Cache version. 🙂
January 29, 2015 at 11:15 pm #50782MMchenMemberGreat … no I just copied it from my first post above :D.
