I created a page with our legal notice (site disclaimer) but wouldn’t want it to appear in the menu, but I’d like there to be a simple link in the footer area where there’s the copyright mention, the ‘powered by wordpress’ and ‘theme : catch evolution’.

where can i put in the html code?

@Pieter: Sorry to edit the Footer area where there is copyright. You need to upgrade to Pro version. Where you will get Footer Editor Options in your Theme Options panel. Then you can edit/add/delete content as per your need.
