I’d like to create a landing page in order to track visits. However, I don’t want to create a menu item for the page, but rather just direct traffic to it via the URL. I don’t see an option under page attributes that give me that option. Can it be done, if so, how?

@rsolosky: Sorry I don’t get it what you mean. Can explain it in detail.
You can create page and write the content on it. But if you don’t want that page to show in the menu. Then you can build custom menus from “Appearance => Menus”, from which you can just add the pages that you like in the menus http://catchthemes.com/blog/custom-menus-wordpress-themes/

Ok, I see, to have a page that is not accessed from the menu, then create a custom menu without that page included, ugh! Sounds complex.

@rsolosky: Yes sorry that the option from WordPress. Custom Menus are great if you start using it. As later in future if you want to include like categories, posts, custom links and so on. But if you still want to use in Page Menu and exclude some page then you need to add in plugin for that.
