How do you change the home page? Is seems fixated by a link whereas my featured image is in the slider and my post image– which are the same is below the featured image slider. How can I have a home page showing only the featured images slider plus additional content?
If I disable the slider post from the home page under theme options, my home page will show the featured images and below it a search box that always states Nothing Found.
If I choose to have just a static front page, I don’t have the option to select the Home page. The only thing that appears is my blog post page with the image.

April 18, 2014 at 11:04 am #26171EnaMemberIs it a must to change page name to something other than Home?
When I create a home page, I would like the Featured Image slider to only show?If I can only have one homepage that is fixated with the featured slider, how can I remove the search field below it that says Nothing Found?
Also, how can I edit the home page catch box has locked with with other content?
April 18, 2014 at 11:10 am #26173EnaMemberOne more question– if I upgrade to Catch Box Pro, will I have the same issue in have a locked homepage?
Can I customize the homepage with whatever I won’t like a video, image slider, text, etc?

1. Create Page from “Pages => Add New”, you can name this page anything. It doesn’t matter.
2. Then go to “Settings => Reading” and in Front page displays, check “A static page (select below)” and in Front page select the page you created.
3. So, this will display the slider and then page that you have just selected. But if you want to hide this page as well then add the following css in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
.home #content .page { display: none; }
If you upgrade to Pro version, the homepage is same. The different is additional features such as Image slider with Full Width, Color Options, Font Family Options, more layouts, menus and so on. See the detail instruction of pro version at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-box-pro/
