I would like to disable comments on certain pages, like my home page. Where can I do that?

@Nabreska: For the pages where you want to remove comment. Just edit those pages and below the your text editor you will see Discussion box and uncheck Allow Comment. See this screenshot http://www.pinterest.com/pin/548594798329843253/

@Sakin: Thank you, but that’s the problem, there is no discussion box below the text editor. Do I need a plugin for that?

@Nabreska: No, you don’t need plugin for this. Maybe you haven’t added “Discussion” from Screen Options. So, you can check in the screenshot posted above. When you edit page/post, you will see the “Screen Options” in your top right corner. Click there and you will see the option to show “Discussion” box.

I have exactly same problem – comments unticked in Discussion, and in screen options. For this site I never – ever want comments but in one hour install I have already had 3 spammers. I tried editing in php but for some reason that caused the sidebar to appear below the content area so I had to reinstall.

I would like to remove all options for commenting

    My site is keychange.com.au

@keychange: You need to edit all your current pages and post and then un-check Allow Comment as show in this screenshot http://www.pinterest.com/pin/548594798329843253/.

If you are using Pro Version, there you have additional Comment Options from where you can disable comment at once.
