    Hi Sakin,

I’m testing the design of my website (again) and found out that if I want to put featured post as a widget on the sidebar I must input the post’s ID. Where do I get the ID of my post? Or can you just change it so I only need to put the post’s link instead of post ID? I’m using catch base pro and you know my web address, right (I posted it several times on my thread on the previous request)?

@alphaxyz: To find the post ID easy way, you can add in Catch IDs plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/catch-ids/.

One more thing… how to make the featured post widget to include 4 posts (or more). Currently, what I’m doing is to add 4 featured post widgets and it’s not practical. It would be nice to make it like the option in theme customizer where there is an option to add up to 20 featured posts with just 1 click. Adding it one by one is not practical especially if someone wants to add like 10 featured posts and also changing other featured posts to display in the future is not gonna be a pleasant experience.

@alphaxyz: Then you can select “Featured Category Content” from “Appearance => Customize => Featured Content Options => Featured Content Type”. Then you can just add in “No of Featured Content” to 20 and select the category. So, it will display the latest 20 posts automatically from the selected categories.

Yes, I already enable the featured content and set it to category.

I’m trying to do this on featured post for the sidebar widget. Please see my site forexquestionsandanswers.com to see what I mean. In featured post for sidebar widget I can only add 1 featured post per widget. Is there a way to make the sidebar widget to display 4 featured posts instead of only 1? I think this would be very awesome to have such feature on featured post for sidebar widget 🙂

@alphaxyz: oh ok but we don’t have this widget at this stage. We don’t have Category widgets. Thanks for the feedback and we will try to add it in future updates. For now, you need to search for plugin. I am sure there must be plugin for that.
