Is it possible to adjust the featured content image size to be more like in the ‘catch responsive’ theme? All my page featured images are 1200×400 so I’m ending up with a very shallow image displayed on the homepage featured content. Ideally I’d like to set it so that the image is always a certain height in the featured content and simply excludes part of the page featured image its drawn from if it doesn’t fit the perimeters. Is this possible?

@Jonathan: Sorry I don’t get it which section are you talking about. Can you explain in reference with your site URL so that I can check in.

Note: each theme has it’s own image sizes and design. So, we recommend to user “Regenerate Thumbnail” plugin and regenerate thumbnail after changing theme.

Thanks for your reply.

The website URL is http://www.nottinghamvocations.co.uk and what I’d like to do is change the size of the images displayed as part of the featured content on the homepage. At the moment its displaying the whole image. What I’d like to do is display an extract of the image cropped to fit a prescribed size. As you’ll see at the moment the images in my homepage featured content are very shallow and I’d like to be able specify a set height.

@Jonathan: Did you regenerate the thumbnail using “Regenerate Thumbnail” plugin after activating this theme. I see you have different image sizes. So, can you do that and check in please.

@Jonathan: After you change the and regerate thumbnail. Did you clear your cache from WP Super Cache settings. Please do that as this plugin create cache of your site.
