I need to edit the description that displays for the website. I am using the Free Version of the template and right now it is pulling some goofy text from somewhere for the description. For example….

Update:

I tried the fix that was suggested on another thread. Edited the description using Yost SEO tool, in both social media section as well as Title\Meta’s, but I am still having the same issue.

Another update, I found this video on making posts with featured images, this works on all other pages except the home page. Again I have cleared all cache’s using YOST but I still get the default description and slider images when I post the home page in FB. However if I post another page on FB I will only get the featured image with my text.

@RadMod: Sometimes it take time to clear the record in FB to come up with new meta data. So, you can test your site at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ . This gives the actual result that will be added in FB.

Sakin thanks for all your help, you were right it did take time for the description to update. However after scraping it again I got the following errors.

Errors That Must Be Fixed
Circular Redirect Path Circular redirect path detected (see ‘Redirect Path’ section for details).

Also although the description has been updated the default slider is being displayed. Here is the message….

og:image was not defined, could not be downloaded or was not big enough. Please define a chosen image using the og:image metatag, and use an image that’s at least 200x200px and is accessible from Facebook. Image ‘websitename/blog/wp-content/themes/catch-kathmandu/images/demo/kathmandu-durbar-square-1280×600.jpg’ will be used instead.

Any more help would be greatly appreciated.
